25 Days of Holiday Happiness Giveaway Contest (“Contest”) 2023

 

  1. These Terms and Conditions of Entry apply to all participants of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s 25 Days of Holiday Happiness Giveaway Contest (“Contest”). The organiser of the Contest is The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf”).

Eligibility for Entry

  1. The Contest is held daily from 1st December 2023 till 25th December 2023 (the “Contest Period”) on the official Instagram Page of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (Singapore) Pte Ltd (instagram.com/coffeebeansg). Winners will be selected and announced within 3 to 5 working days from the end of each daily contest.
  2. The Contest is open to all residents of Singapore who are aged eighteen (18) years old or above at the time of entry.
  3. Employees (and members of their immediate families) of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf are prohibited from entering the Contest.

How to Enter

  1. To participate in the daily Contest, participants are required to follow the steps indicated clearly in each contest post.
  2. All contest entries must be submitted within 24 hours of the publish of each post, i.e. before 11:59 hours (SGT). Any entries received thereafter will not be eligible for consideration.
  3. By entering the Contest, each individual (“participant”) consents and hereby grants to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use their name, written communications, likeness and any personal details supplied as part of the Contest for promotional/marketing purposes.

Determination of Winner

  1. The winner(s) of the daily Contest will be determined using an online random picker https://namepicker.net/. Winners will be notified via Direct Message on Instagram to the Instagram handle provided at the time of registration (“Winner Notification”)
  2. The total number of winners that will be chosen for each Instagram contest will be indicated on each contest post.
  3. Each participant is only allowed to win once in the entire contest period from 1 to 25 December 2023. Unique participants are defined by the residential or email address provided in response to the Winning Notification - each residential or email address is allowed to redeem only 1 prize throughout the entire contest period.
  4. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf reserves the right to retract the prize if the winner is found to have redeemed a prize from the entire contest period. A new winner will be selected in this case.
  5. The decision of the organiser will be deemed as final and irrefutable, and no correspondence will be entered into about the Contest or Organiser’s decision.

Prize

  1. A variety of prizes will be given out daily, ranging from E-Gift Cards, Retail Products to Cakes and Pastries, which may be issued in the form of E-Vouchers to be redeemed on CoffeeBean SG Rewards App or delivered to recipient via 3rd Party Delivery Provider.
  2. Failure to contact The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf by the stated deadline in the Winner Notification may lead to a forfeit of the prize(s). In the event of a forfeit of prize(s), it is at the sole discretion of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf to award the prize(s) to other participant(s).
  3. Prizes are non-refundable and no cash alternative will be given. All prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution will be made unless the organiser, in its sole discretion, determines otherwise. The organiser reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value should it become unavailable for any reason. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use.

Consent to Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Information

  1. By entering the Contest and/or voluntarily providing his/her personal information, each participant consents and agrees to the collection, use and disclosure of the participant’s personal information by organiser and its third-party services’ providers for the purpose of administering the Contest and fulfilling the prizes. The organiser will not use a participant’s personal information for any other reason, nor will the organiser otherwise disclose it to any third party without consent of participants.

Release

  1. By entering the Contest, participants agree that the organiser shall not be responsible or liable for any losses or injuries of any kind resulting from participating in the Contest or acceptance, possession and/or use or misuse of the prizes, or any part thereof, and agree to release, discharge and hold harmless the organiser and its respective officers, directors, parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, Contest administrators, third party services’ providers and prize suppliers (collectively, the “Releasees”) from all claims or damages arising out of the individual’s participation in the Contest and/or acceptance, use or misuse of the prizes, or any part thereof.

General

  1. All selections and decisions made by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and in conjunction with this Contest are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about the Contest or the organiser’s decision.
  2. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf shall be entitled to terminate or modify the Contest or to modify the rules at any time prior to the closing date by publishing any of such modification or termination on its official Instagram page on https://www.instagram.com/coffeebeansg/
  3. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and which prevents The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf from complying with these Terms and Conditions or providing the prizes, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.
