1. How do I change my registered email address?

Once you created an account with your registered email address, the email address will be used as your UserID. Hence, you will not be able to change or amend your registered email address.

 

If you have any issues regarding the continued use of your email address, do fill up the form here. Our team will get back to you within 5 working days.

2. How do I change my password on my account?

To change your password, head to “Account & information” of the mobile app and select "Update Profile".

 

To reset your password, click on "Forget Password" on the login page of the mobile app. A reset password link with instructions will be sent to your registered email address.

 

Your password must:

Have 8 or more characters

Contain alphabet and numeric characters

Contain at least 1 uppercase and 1 lowercase character

Contain at least 1 special character (e.g. !, @, #, $, %, &)

3. I have selected the wrong birthday month during the activation of my Card, how can I change it?

Customers are not allowed to make changes to their birthday month on their account. 

4. How does The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf protect my privacy after I register for an account?

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf does not sell or share your personal information, including your name, address, phone number, email address, birth date, financial account information etc. with third parties. We take great care in managing your personal information, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. What methods of payment can be used to reload the e-Card stored value on the CoffeeBean SG Rewards app?

Credit and Debit cards (Visa and Master only) can be used to reload the e-Card stored value on the CoffeeBean SG Rewards app.

6. Can the stored value in a CoffeeBean SG e-Card be used to reload another CoffeeBean SG e-Card?

Yes, do contact us here to transfer stored value from one e-Card to another. Our team will get back to you within 5 working days.

7.  What is the minimum amount to purchase or reload a CoffeeBean SG e-Card?

S$10 is the minimum amount.

8. What is the maximum amount of stored value of a CoffeeBean SG e-Card?

S$1,000 is the maximum amount.

9. Where can I use my CoffeeBean SG e-Card?

Your e-Card can be used at all The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stores in Singapore except stores located at Changi Airport (T2, T3, T4 and Jewel), as well as Beanstro at Marina Bay Sands.

10. How many CoffeeBean SG e-Cards can be used in each transaction?

Only 1 CoffeeBean SG e-Card can be used for payment in each transaction.

11. How do I view and manage my CoffeeBean SG Rewards account?

You can check your e-Card account details, transactions, Bean Points and Rewards, and reload your card by logging into your account through our CoffeeBean SG Reward mobile app.

12. Will my receipt have my CoffeeBean SG e-Card balance on it when I use it to make a purchase?

Yes.

13. Does The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf charge any service fee for my CoffeeBean SG e-Card?

No.

14. How do I reload my CoffeeBean SG e-Card(s)?

You can reload your CoffeeBean SG e-Card at any participating The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf store in Singapore or through our CoffeeBean SG Rewards mobile application. You can reload a minimum of S$10 each time. The maximum balance that can be stored on a CoffeeBean SG e-Card at any given time is S$1,000.

15. Can I use my CoffeeBean SG e-Card or Rewards mobile app when I travel internationally?

No. CoffeeBean SG e-Cards and Rewards mobile app cannot be used in any other markets. The e-Cards and all CoffeeBean SG Rewards related offers, vouchers and privileges can only be used in Singapore.

16. Can the CoffeeBean SG e-Card be refunded?

Please contact us here for refunds. Refunds are valid only in accordance with the refund policy and procedures in the Terms of Use.

17.  How do I check the remaining value on my CoffeeBean SG e-Card?

You can check the remaining value on your CoffeeBean SG e-Card by logging into your account on CoffeeBean SG Rewards mobile app. Select "Payment" and “Manage Cards” to view all registered e-Cards and their respective remaining value.

18.  Can I view my transaction history and Bean Points earned?

You can view your transaction history and the Bean Points earned by logging into your account on theCoffeeBean SG Rewards mobile app. Please allow up to 24 hours for updates to your transaction history.

19. Can I view my list of rewards?

You can view your rewards on CoffeeBean SG Rewards mobile app by selecting "Rewards".

20. When will my CoffeeBean SG e-Card expire?

The CoffeeBean SG e-Card will expire 1 year from the date of sign-up if there is no top-up or usage of stored value within the first year.

 

As long as there is a top-up or usage of stored value on the e-Card within the first year of membership, the validity of the e-Card will be extended by 3 years from the last date of top-up or usage of stored value, whichever is later.

 

Once the e-Card expires, any remaining value in expired CoffeeBean SG e-Cards will be forfeited and is non-refundable.

21. Can I request for a customized CoffeeBean SG e-Card?

No, personal CoffeeBean SG e-Cards cannot be customised. For bulk or corporate requests, please contact us here.

ABOUT REWARDS

1. What is the CoffeeBean SG Rewards?

CoffeeBean SG Rewards is a membership programme that rewards and thanks loyal customers for patronising The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stores in Singapore. The programme benefits all CoffeeBean SG Rewards members as you earn Bean Points when you pay via your registered CoffeeBean SG e-card at all participating The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stores in Singapore, amongst other rewards.

2. How does CoffeeBean SG Rewards programme work?

You can join the programme by downloading the CoffeeBean SG Rewards mobile application and registering your CoffeeBean SG e-Card. Simply top up a minimum of S$10 on the mobile app to start using the application for your purchases. For every S$1 you spend, you will earn 5 Bean Points. Every 50 Bean Points is equivalent to $0.50 off.

3. What are the benefits of signing up forCoffeeBean SG Rewards?

Upon registering for a new CoffeeBeanSG Rewards account, you will receive an exclusive welcome voucher.

With every S$1 spent, you will be able to earn 5 Bean Points, for rebates off your next transaction. From time to time, member-exclusive offers and privileges will also be made available via the app to reward our loyal customers.

4. What are the participating The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Singapore stores for the CoffeeBean SG Rewards programme?

The CoffeeBean SG Rewards programme is applicable at all The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stores in Singapore except those located at Singapore Changi Airport (T2, T3, T4 and Jewel), as well as Beanstro at Marina Bay Sands.

5. How do I register for a CoffeeBean SG Rewards account if I’m not a member?

Simply download the CoffeeBean SG Rewards mobile application, register to be a member and top up or purchase a CoffeeBean SG e-Card at a minimum of S$10 to start using the application for your purchases.

Upon successful registration, you can start collecting Bean Points by paying with your registered CoffeeBean SG e-Card. For every S$1 spent, you will earn 5 Bean Points. Every 50 Bean Points is equivalent to $0.50 off.

Bean Points collection is not applicable for promotional and selected merchandise, as well as for the purchase of gift cards and top-ups.

6. What are Bean Points and how do I earn them?

You can earn Bean Points for rebates off your next purchase simply by paying with the CoffeeBean SG e-Card registered to your account at a participating The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf store in Singapore (except stores located at Changi Airport (T2, T3, T4 and Jewel) as well as at Beanstro at Marina Bay Sands). For every S$1 you spend, you will earn 5 Bean Points. Every 50 Bean Points is equivalent to $0.50 off. Do note that Bean Points may take up to 24 hours to be reflected in your account.

Do note that Bean Points collection is not applicable for promotional and selected merchandise, as well as for the purchase of gift cards and top-ups.

7. How are Bean Points used?

Bean Points may be used for instant rebate off your next The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf purchase. Every 50 Bean Points is equivalent to $0.50 off. 

Do note that Bean Points are not redeemable for the purchase of gift cards and top-ups, as well as for selected promotions and merchandise.

8. Once a CoffeeBean SG e-Card has been registered or added to an existing account, can it be used to register a new account or added to another account?

Once you have registered a CoffeeBean SG e-Card to an existing account, all rewards and Bean Points associated with that e-Card will be added to the account and this action cannot be undone. In other words, once an e-Card has been registered to an account, it can no longer be registered or added to a different account.

9. Do my Bean Points expire?

Yes. Bean Points earned in a calendar year will expire on 31 March the following year.

For instance, Bean Points earned from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023 will expire on 31 March 2024.

10.  Do I earn Bean Points when I pay with my phone?

Yes, you can earn Bean Points and redeem your rewards when you pay with your registered CoffeeBean SG e-Card via the CoffeeBean SG Rewards mobile applicable at any participating The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf store.

Do note that Bean Points collection is not applicable for promotional and selected merchandise, as well as for the purchase of gift cards and top-ups.

11. How do I pay with my phone?

Download the CoffeeBean SG Rewards App and log into your account. You can see all your CoffeeBean SG e-Cards registered to your account under “Payment”, “Manage Card”. Select the registered CoffeeBean SG e-Card you want to pay with and flash the QR code to the cashier in participating The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stores* to earn Bean Points and redeem rewards.

*Available at all The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Singapore stores except those located at Changi Airport (T2, T3, T4 and Jewel) as well as Beanstro at Marina Bay Sands.

12. Do I earn Bean Points if I do not register my CoffeeBean SG e-Card?

No. Bean Points are only awarded to a CoffeeBean SG e-Card that has been registered to your account.

Do note that Bean Points collection is not applicable for promotional and selected merchandise, as well as for the purchase of gift cards and top-ups.

13. Can I still earn Bean Points if I pay for my transaction by other payment methods such as cash, credit card or Nets?

No. You have to pay with your registered CoffeeBean SG e-Card because it is connected to your CoffeeBean SG Rewards membership and doing so will allow us to reward you for your purchases.

14.  What purchases are ineligible to earn Bean Points?

Purchases of CoffeeBean SG Gift Cards, gift certificates, vouchers, promotional and selected merchandise, as well as bulk purchases with discounts applied are ineligible to earn Bean Points. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf may from time to time designate certain product items to be ineligible to earn Bean Points.

15. If I pay for my transaction using a combination of different payment methods such as cash together with my CoffeeBean SG e-card, can I still earn Bean Points?

Yes, however the number of Bean Points earned will be based solely on the amount paid using the CoffeeBean SG e-Card(s). 

16. Will all my accounts receive Bean Points if I use multiple CoffeeBean SG e-Cards registered in different accounts to pay for my transaction?

Bean Points will only be credited to the account that the e-Card used is registered to. Only the e-Card used for payment will be credited with Bean Points. Only one e-Card can be used in each transaction.

17. How long does it take for Bean Points to be recorded into my account?

Each time you make a purchase at a participating The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf store with your registered CoffeeBean SG e-cCrd, the number of Bean Points earned will be recorded in your account within 24 hours of the purchase. You may log into your account on the CoffeeBean SG Rewards mobile application to track your Bean Points.

18. Who do I contact if my Bean Points balance is incorrect?

We want to ensure that the Bean Points in your account accurately reflect your purchases. If the total number of Bean Points appears to be incorrect, please contact us here. Be sure to have your CoffeeBean SG e-Card number available with you for verification purposes. Please note that the detailed allocation of Bean Points and transaction history may take up to 24 hours to be updated

19. Can the Bean Points in my account be transferred to someone else?

Yes, to transfer Bean Points collected to another account, please contact us here.

20. How do I redeem my vouchers?

Simply inform our barista in any participating The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Singapore store that you’d like to redeem your vouchers. You may scan the QR code on your mobile device at the cashier of participating stores to redeem.

Your Bean Points earned in each calendar year will expire on 31 March of the following year, while vouchers have their respective validity period which is listed on each voucher. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf may also offer special vouchers from time to time with different validity periods. You can track your rewards and vouchers via the CoffeeBean SG Rewards app. Please be sure to redeem them before they expire.

21. How will I know that I have a voucher available?

You may check your available vouchers on the CoffeeBean SG Rewards App under the "Rewards" section.

22. Do vouchers expire?

Yes. Different vouchers have their respective expiry dates. You can track this via the CoffeeBean SG Rewards App. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf may also offer special e-vouchers from time to time with different validity periods. Please be sure to redeem your rewards before they expire.

23. When will I receive exclusive offers and discounts?

You will receive exclusive offers and discounts by email, SMS or push notification through our CoffeeBean SG Rewards App from time to time. When you sign up for your CoffeeBean SG Rewards account, there will be an option to opt-in to receive such communications from us so you don’t miss out on our latest offers.

24. How does it work for the redemption of rewards or benefits if I have multiple CoffeeBean SG e-Cards?

The rewards are linked to your CoffeeBean SG Rewards account and not to your CoffeeBean SG e-Cards. Once the voucher or benefit is redeemed, it will no longer be available for any other e-Cards under your account.

25. I didn’t use my voucher and it expired; why do you have expiration dates on vouchers?

Vouchers have an expiration date because we want to encourage members to use them. As our most loyal customers, we want you to enjoy those rewards because you deserve them. You can always check the status of your vouchers if you log into your CoffeeBean SG Rewards application. Vouchers can be redeemed by using your registered CoffeeBean SG e-Card and letting our barista know you will like to redeem a voucher on your account.

26. How do I check the status of my Bean Points balance and vouchers?

You can log into your account on the CoffeeBean SG Rewards App to track the number of Bean Points you’ve earned, your current active vouchers and Bean Points available for redemption. Do note that Bean Points may take up to 24 hours to be reflected in your account.

27. Is there a limit to how many vouchers I can have at any given time?

There is no limit to the number of vouchers you can have in your account at any one time. The vouchers stay in your account until you redeem them or when your vouchers expire.

28. Why do I have to pay with my CoffeeBean SG e-Card to participate in the programme?

 You have to pay with your CoffeeBean SG e-Card because it is linked to your rewards. By using your CoffeeBean SG e-Card, we can track your purchases and award you Bean Points. Also, when you register your e-Card, you provide your contact details for us to inform you of your rewards and special offers.

29. How many CoffeeBean SG e-Cards can I register as part of the CoffeeBean SG Rewards programme?

You can register up to 10 CoffeeBean SG e-Cards to your CoffeeBean SG Rewards account. All Bean Points earned via your different e-Cards will contribute to your account's total. You can redeem the vouchers that are awarded to your account using any of the e-Cards that are registered to your account.

30. Will the use of multiple CoffeeBean SG e-Card registered to me count towards my programme benefits?

Yes. The use of any CoffeeBean SG e-Card purchased, activated and registered to your account in Singapore will earn you Bean Points and enable you to enjoy vouchers and rewards.

31. Are all CoffeeBean SG e-Cards eligible for rewards and benefits?

Yes. All CoffeeBean SG e-Cards are eligible for rewards and benefits as long as they are registered to your account via the CoffeeBean SG Rewards app.

32. Is there a fee to join CoffeeBean SG Rewards?

No membership fee is required to join the CoffeeBean SG Rewards programme. All you have to do is download the CoffeeBean SG Rewards mobile app and register an account to be automatically enrolled into the programme. You can download the app here.

33. Why is registration necessary in order to join the programme?

Registering your CoffeeBean SG e-Card on the CoffeeBean SG Rewards App, signs you up to enjoy benefits and rewards at participating The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf outlets in Singapore.

Additionally, when you register a CoffeeBean SG e-Card, you can also manage your account in a variety of ways, including making payments, online or through the CoffeeBean SG Rewards App.

34. Can I transfer a CoffeeBean SG Rewards membership to someone else?

Memberships are non-transferable and cannot be shared with family members or friends.

35. How will The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf contact me with my email address?

You may choose to opt-in or opt out of receiving promotional emails from us. By opting in, you will receive notifications of the various special offers available to you as a CoffeeBean SG Rewards member. If you wish to opt out of receiving such promotional emails, you can go to your account and change your settings anytime. However, you will still receive non-promotional emails about your account, such as any change in programmes or policies.

36. My Bean Points have expired, but I have not redeemed them. What can I do?

As the expiry date of Bean Points are strictly by 31 March every year, we recommend all points to be utilised prior to expiry. We regret that we will not be able to reinstate any expired Bean Points.

E-GIFT

1. How do I purchase a CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card on CoffeeBean SG Rewards app?

Simply go to ‘Gift’ section on the CoffeeBean SG Rewards app, browse the card designs, select and add an amount to load. Include the recipient’s email address and your personalised message to send.

2. Must I be a CoffeeBean SG Rewards member to purchase a CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card?

Yes, you will need to be a CoffeeBean SG Rewards member to purchase a CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card on the mobile app.

3. As a CoffeeBean SG Rewards member, do I earn Bean Points when purchasing a CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card?

No, you will not earn Bean Points for purchases of CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card.

4. What is the minimum or maximum amount that I can load into a CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card?

You can load a minimum amount of $10 and a maximum of $1,000 into a CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card.

5. How do I send aCoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card to a friend?

Under "Gift" on the app, you may choose your desired e-Gift Card design and amount, enter the recipient's name and email address, and add your personalized message upon checkout. Thereafter, an email with redemption details will be sent to the recipient, and he/she can redeem the e-Gift Card by adding it to their CoffeeBean SG Rewards account. If your friend is not an existing member, he/she simply needs to register an account to redeem.

6. What happens when my friend does not receive the CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card I’ve sent?

It may take up to 24 hours for the e-Gift Card to be sent to your friend’s email address. They may wish to also check their Spam/Junk mailbox for the email. If it has been more than 24 hours, please contact our Customer Care Team here with the order number and we’ll do our best to assist you.

7. What happens if I input a wrong email address for my friend for the CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card purchase?

You may contact our Customer Care Team here with the order number and we’ll do our best to assist you.

8. What happens if my friend accidentally deleted the CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card email notification before redeeming it?

Please inform your friend to check his/her Trash/Deleted mailbox folder and retrieve the email. If he/she is unable to do so, please ask him/her to fill up the form here and we’ll do our best to assist you.

9. Is there an expiry to the CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card?

Once the e-Gift Card is purchased, it is valid for 30 days. Reminders to register the e-gift card will be sent to the recipient after 10 days and 21 days. If the e-Gift Card is not registered after 30 days, the e-Gift Card will be considered expired, and no refund will be made or reimbursed to the sender or recipient of the e-Gift Card. Extension of the validity period is not allowed. Once the e-Gift Card is redeemed, the usual 3 years validity period from the last transaction date applies to the CoffeeBean SG Card.

10. Where can I use a CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card?

 CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card can be used at all The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stores located within Singapore, except stores located at Changi Airport (T2, T3, T4 and Jewel) as well as Beanstro at Marina Bay Sands.

11. Can I cancel or refund a CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card?

No, purchase of CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card is strictly not eligible for any exchange, cancellation, or refund.

12. What payment method can be used to purchase CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card?

We accept all Visa and Master Credit/Debit cards. Please note that CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card cannot be purchased with a CoffeeBean SG e-Card.

13. Can I buy a CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card for myself?

Yes, you can. Simply enter your email address in the recipient field. Upon purchase, details for the registration of the CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card will be sent to your email.

14. How do I register a CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card? 

To register your CoffeeBean SG e-Gift Card, simply log in to your CoffeeBean SG Rewards account on our mobile app,  select "Payment" and "Manage Cards" to add it in with the Card Number and Pin provided.
